Electrical Engineering

 electriThe course provides the underpinning knowledge in electrotechnology and safety necessary to progress or embark on a career in this industry. It is designed for people eager to enter apprenticeships, professionals who need a working knowledge of electrical installations, security alarm fitters, aerial installers and others involved in the construction industry as well as serious DIY practitioners.

The department is headed by Mr. Mpaata [Top] and assisted by Mr. Mastiko who are fully experienced in the field. The course covers installation theory and practice in compliance with current wiring regulations. You will learn about the UK’s electrical generation, transmission and distribution systems and the up-to-date information on installation regulations, health and safety.

At least (1) one principal pass in science subjects in, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with 2 subisiary passes at “A” level or certificate in Electrical Installation or the equivalent qualification.
