Mr Sebanenya George heads this sensitive department which handles one of the sensitive parts of the entire behavior of the students

Guidance and counseling involves helping troubled persons to go through bad situations by relieving them from such problems hence coping up with life. The department started in 2004.

Its main objective is:

1. To increase the individual competence in service delivery for example of social workers, teachers, counselors, nurses and any other person in social administration.
2. The teaching staff include 4 full time lecturers and 10(Ten) part timers.
3.It started with 14 diploma students and in the subsequent years, the number has risen to 320, both diploma and certificate. The schedule for intake is January, September and May every year with a chance to offer weekend programs on request
