TO ALL STUDENTS,
PARENTS, GUARDIANS.
RE: OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE RE-OPENING OF THE INSTITUTION (YCI)
Greeting from YMCA Comprehensive Institute.
With reference to the subject above, we write to make clarifications and the way forward in regards to the official opening of the Institution.
On 24th May 2020, The Institute sent out communication through text message and on our social Media Channels to all students, parents and Guardians with 04th June 2020 as a provisional date of opening the Institution for Finalists.
After the Presidential address on 1stJune 2020, new guidelines were issued by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in regards to schools and Institutions of Higher Learning as we continue to fight COVID 19 (Corona Virus).
With Reference to the New Presidential guidelines, Schools and Institutions of Higher Learning will remain closed for one more month (31 Days) starting on 4th June 2020. Therefore, no students will be reporting on 4th June 2020 as earlier communicated.
The Institution Administrative offices will be open from Monday – Friday at 10am to 2pm for:
· Persons that would like to Apply for our upcoming intakes
· Persons that would like to pick their Academic Transcripts and recommendations
· Any other consultations.
We continue to encourage students to stay safe and continue:
· To work on their real-life projects.
· To do personal research and reading
· To complete any other assignments as they were assigned by their lectures.
We shall continuously communicate through our official channels in case of new developments.
