A Diploma in Business Administration is a program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of business operations and management. This diploma program typically covers a wide range of subjects related to business, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills to thrive in the corporate world or start their own ventures.
A’level or Certificate in Business studies or the equivalent qualifications.
Time: 5.30 p.m – 8.30pm
8.00 a.m – 1.00 p.m
1.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m
Core Business Principles: The program begins by laying a foundation in core business principles, such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations management. Students learn about fundamental concepts and practices in these areas, gaining a holistic understanding of how different functions work together to achieve business objectives.
Business Communication: Effective communication is vital in the business world. Students learn how to communicate professionally, both in written and oral forms. They develop skills in business writing, presentations, interpersonal communication, and negotiation.
Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility: Students explore the ethical considerations and responsibilities that businesses have towards society, the environment, and stakeholders. They learn about sustainable business practices, ethical decision-making, and the importance of corporate social responsibility.
Organizational Behavior: This course delves into understanding human behavior in organizational settings. Students explore topics such as motivation, leadership, teamwork, organizational culture, and employee engagement. They learn how to manage and work effectively with individuals and teams within an organization.
Business Law and Regulations: Students gain knowledge of legal frameworks and regulations that govern business operations. They learn about contract law, intellectual property rights, employment law, consumer protection, and other legal aspects relevant to business.

NOTE:
A UGX 20,000 NCHE Fee is paid annually and directly to the National Council for Higher Education by the applicant upon enrolment.
Hostel accommodation for male and female students is available at Buwambo Campus at a fee of UGX 550,000 per quarter (Inclusive of accommodation and meals).
All students in the hostel will be required to bring toiletries.
