A Certificate in Customs Clearing & Forwarding is a program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills related to customs regulations, import-export procedures, and the logistics involved in international trade.
‘A’ Level or Certificate in Travel & Tourism Management or the equivalent qualifications.
Customs Regulations: Students learn international trade laws, import-export regulations, tariff classifications, and customs procedures.
Import-Export Documentation: Students gain practical skills in preparing and processing trade documents like invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Freight Forwarding: Students study transportation modes, supply chain management, and logistics operations for effective goods movement.
Trade Compliance: Students learn about export controls, risk management, and the role of customs brokers in ensuring trade compliance.
Trade Finance: Students explore financing options, letters of credit, and insurance practices in global trade transactions.
Professional Skills: Students develop communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills for effective stakeholder interactions in customs clearing and forwarding.

NOTE:
A UGX 20,000 NCHE Fee is paid annually and directly to the National Council for Higher Education by the applicant upon enrolment.
Hostel accommodation for male and female students is available at Buwambo Campus at a fee of UGX 550,000 per quarter (Inclusive of accommodation and meals).
All students in the hostel will be required to bring toiletries.
