A junior certificate in plumbing is a program designed to provide students with foundational skills and knowledge necessary to gain an entry-level position in the plumbing industry. The program typically covers a range of topics related to plumbing,
At least 5 passes at “O” level including Maths and English Language.
Time: 8:00PM – 12:30 PM
1:00AM – 5:00PM
Introduction to Plumbing: Students will gain an understanding of the basics of plumbing, including plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
Plumbing Installation: The program will cover the principles of plumbing installation, including pipe sizing, fitting, and joining. Students will learn how to install and repair common residential and commercial plumbing and piping systems.
Plumbing Codes and Regulations: Students will learn about the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fuel, Gas, and Plumbing Code, as well as other relevant plumbing codes and regulations.
Safety: The program will emphasize the importance of safety in plumbing, including proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
Practical Skills: Students will develop hands-on skills in plumbing, including the proper use of hand and power tools, installation of plumbing fixtures, and repair of plumbing systems.

NOTE:
A UGX 20,000 NCHE Fee is paid annually and directly to the National Council for Higher Education by the applicant upon enrolment.
Hostel accommodation for male and female students is available at Buwambo Campus at a fee of UGX 550,000 per quarter (Inclusive of accommodation and meals).
All students in the hostel will be required to bring toiletries.
