Business

The pursuit of business attachments has become a widespread phenomenon in Uganda, as individuals seek to supplement their incomes during times of economic depression. At our institution, we understand this need and strive to provide comprehensive education and opportunities for practical experience in the business sector.

The Department of Business Studies offers a diverse range of courses at the Certificate, Diploma, and Degree levels. Our programs include: Accountancy, Business administration (general), Business administration (Human Resource Management), Business administration (Banking and Finance), Procurement and logistics management (Purchasing and Supplies Management).

Our intakes for the morning session are in January and May, while the August intake offers both evening and afternoon sessions, providing flexibility to suit different schedules and commitments.

BBA (Bachelor’s Degree) is offered during weekend and evening sessions, requiring two principle passes for enrollment.

All our students undergo examinations licensed by UNEB/UBTEB, ensuring the credibility and recognition of their qualifications.

We have also introduced our Elementary Course in Business, tailored for students who were unable to complete their Senior Four studies. This course serves as a starting point, equipping individuals with the necessary foundational knowledge and skills in the business field.

Looking ahead, we have plans to introduce additional courses, including Banking, Finance, and Insurance courses, as well as Banking and Microfinance programs, expanding the opportunities available to our students.
